Welcome to scenic Lighthouse Christian Retreat, Inc. (LHCR), a year-round, non-denominational Christian Conference and Retreat center in Virginia. It sits on 97.5 acres of beautiful Virginia rolling hills. At the Lighthouse, we show God’s love and concern for our fellow man at every opportunity. The Lighthouse was inspired by the Holy Spirit and purposed to exalt the Lord by offering a place of refuge for His people. This is a place to be restored, renewed, and refreshed and grow and encounter the living God. This vision was prophetically declared numerous times for decades and founded on Isaiah 58.
Lighthouse Christian Retreat, Inc. is a non-denominational Christian conference and retreat center in Virginia that will sit on 97.5 acres of beautiful rolling hills. The retreat center responds to God’s instruction to purchase land inte`nded to be a place of refuge where people can be restored, renewed, and refreshed and grow and encounter the living God. The retreat center was founded in 2004 by Valerie Thomas, the CEO, who has experienced many personal encounters with God through the Holy Spirit for decades. The retreat center offers group, personal, and corporate retreats all year round, training, teaching, juvenile alternative sentencing classes, recovery classes, at-risk youth activities, and so much more to experience.
